I went here once several years ago and it was probably the worse salon experience I ever had.
I have no enough words in my thankfulness dictionary for her!
I walked to this Salon today feeling totally down. I have moved to Pittsburgh about 3 months ago and I totally neglected my hair, ended up with half gray and half ugly yellow! They recommended Lana for me since she has a good experience with color treatments. Lana suggested some colors and ideas and I felt comfortable about what she was looking for but I know, as always, results will never be the one I want! A lot of details, starting from her humble personality ending with my jaw dropping in the end of the day! This girl is a miracle, she’s genius and made me feel 15 years back in age!
Words can't describe this place the paint is terrible the decor is tacky. The front door is completely rusted the service was terrible the receptionist smelled like alcohol and was obvious drunk which is sad because she was practically 80 years old.the manager walked around like her crap don't stink. She was also about 80. I hope she doesn't represent the salon becauseher hair was way too long for her age.her wardrobe is definetly stuck in the 80.s fyi she had no bra on absolutely made me sick.for the prices they charge and the location they are in they should be ashamed. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy
Salon Vivace is absolutely amazing. As I walked in today the receptionist met me with a smile, checked me in, asked if I'd like a beverage, and directed me to the waiting area. I waited for a minute and my "designer specialist" Chelsea met me and walked me to her station. She is an absolute professional and has earned every letter of her title. After we talked through what I wanted, she had spot on recommendations. The dry hair cut she gave me is the best I've ever had. With the help of her excellent assistant I was in and out in no time with my favorite hairstyle EVER. She took the time to educate, listen, and was a joy to talk with. I had a truly first class experience.
I am very disappointed. I couldn't even make it through the door. My sister-in-law and I wanted to get our nails done together. We scheduled two gel manicures. Unfortunately, they called and cancelled on us THREE times and kept trying to reschedule. We received two of the cancellation calls 1-2 hours before our appointment. I am disappointed with the poor customer service. We will go elsewhere to get our gel manicures.
